During the summer, I feel the easiest way to create a look is using a bold lip colour. It creates an impact without wearing heavy make-up through the heat.
Bold red lips have been popular this season, so I wanted to create a fresh matte sporty red which didn't look too pin-up-esque.
First, I applied MAC's cherry lip liner, following my lips line, then thicker once more to create volume

Then I filled the lips with the lipliner

I then used stargazers lipstick 127 red and applied to the centre of my lips and worked it ourwatrds with a small flat brush.

Using a coral lipliner, chicogo 031 orange flame, I brighten the lips lining the edges of the lips.

To finish I reapplied the lipstick on the centre of both lips and blended it out.
